Job Summary
Property maintenance company looking for experienced handyman/property maintenance staff for $20-27 per hour with wage that increases based on demonstrated skill and experience.
Job details: Renovating apartments to ensure they are rent ready. Apartment conditions can range from very light construction work to full top-to-bottom renovations. Diagnosing, responding, and repairing tenant issues through work orders.
We're looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team for a handyman/property maintenance role. A positive attitude and a proactive, "can-do" approach would be a great fit, as we're always looking for someone who is eager to learn, take direction, and give their best effort in every task. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, etc.)
- Renovating Apartments requiring a multitude of skills
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure safety standard
- Work independently to finish a job from start to finish
- Respond to tenant service requests in a timely manner
- Maintain landscaping, common areas, and building exteriors
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and lawn care
- Keep accurate maintenance records and follow company protocols
- Ability to drive a truck and pull a trailer
Qualifications:
- Resume Required
- 3-years maintenance experience required
- Knowledge of basic repairs and handyman skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform manual labor
- Valid driver’s license required
- Construction/Artisan Certifications preferred
- Ability to pull a trailer with a truck
