What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Tee Attendant (seasonal) position at CASTLE PINES GOLF CLUB INC?
Castle Pines Golf Club is a nationally ranked private golf club located in Castle Rock, Colorado. Position Overview:
This individual is expected to assist the practice tee staff and professional staff in every aspect of the total golf operation and golf experience. This position will include responsibilities in the golf operation pertaining directly to the practice tee with support to the outside operations team. This position will also assist in coordinating daily play on the practice tee alongside the Practice Tee Manager. This individual will also be accountable for monitoring pace of play daily. This individual will work closely with the Practice Tee Manager and the Professional staff as well as other club department heads and their staff.
Position Responsibilities:
- Help to oversee all areas of the golf operation to ensure expectations and standards are being met.
- Monitor the practice tee and short game areas daily and provide support where needed
- Assisting in the coordination of play each day
- Help set the queue of play daily for morning and afternoons
- Remain in constant communication with the practice tee manager and the professional staff with groups arriving and departing the practice tee
- Support in maintaining a constant presence on the practice tee to organize the following:
- Hitting stations are staged daily and are up to standard
- Golf balls are adequately stocked and presentable
- Practice tee supplies are adequately stocked
- Monitor and work with practice tee manager on re-orders of supplies needed for the practice tee
- Upholding the appearance standard of the range daily
- Monitor and stock and Member and guest golf carts that arrive on the practice tee
- Service Members and guests on the practice tee by cleaning and organizing their clubs
- Assist the Practice Tee Manager in the organization and pairings of caddies for daily play
- Communicate and provide any services needed for the Director of Instruction throughout the day
- Aid with all golfing calendar events
- Communicate regularly with the Practice Tee Manager, Head Professional, Assistant Professionals Director of Instruction, Merchandiser, Bag Staff, Valet, Practice Tee, Dining Room Staff, Food and Beverage Manager, Front Office and Housekeeping regarding daily operations and special events
- Develop creative ways of improving any part of the golf operation
- Aid the Practice Tee Manager and Professional Staff in every phase of the golf operation
- Spread hospitality and goodwill to all Members, Guests, and Staff.
