Overview
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for the operation of the Accounts Receivable Team. These responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring that the Estoppel team (resale and developer), warranty deeds, developer deeds, lockboxes, tickets, legal and collections teams all follow the processes and procedures within the accounts receivables department. This position will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes, attention to detail and ability to manage complex inquiries and projects.
The Accounts Receivable Supervisor also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of the Castle Group. He or she performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of Castle Royal Service as it relates to this function. This includes working interdepartmentally, as well as, with our external customers.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivables including AR Processers and AR Specialists.
- Monitor, supervise and evaluate all daily accounts receivables activities.
- Knowledge and understanding of all departments within the Accounts Receivables umbrella.
- Ensure accurate data entry, able to resolve conflicts.
- Responsible for monthly metrics and ensure internal controls are adhered to.
- Assist the team with escalated items.
- Monitor tickets in the department including unassigned tickets.
- Optimize the company’s accounts receivable team, develop, and implement new processes and tools as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Castle’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training, developing and mentoring employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
