The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Castle team. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing residential remodeling projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and knowledgeable about residential construction. You will coordinate subcontractors, trades, materials, schedules, and internal team members while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Castle's high standards for quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and available when needed.
- Monitor project progress and address scheduling or construction issues proactively.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the project.
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, building codes, and Castle's quality standards.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure projects remain compliant with applicable requirements.
- Review project costs and help ensure projects remain within budget.
- Identify potential issues before they become costly delays or problems.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate updates to the appropriate team members.
- Provide leadership and direction to the project team while maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and with an exceptional client experience.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in residential construction or remodeling.
- In-depth understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and health and safety requirements.
- Experience with construction and/or project management software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate a variety of trades and professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
