What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Aircraft Cleaner position at Castle Aviation, Inc.?
JOB PURPOSE
The Part Time Aircraft Cleaner will ensure that Castle planes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after a flight or in preparation for flight. This work requires someone who is detail-oriented and reliable.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and sanitize inside of aircraft after or before a flight
- Clean the outside of the aircraft as required
- Remove trash, vacuum cabin, clean and sanitize lavatory units
- Spot-clean upholstery stains on seat fabric and hard surfaces
- Comply with all airport security badge requirements and ramp safety procedures
- Report damaged seat hardware, malfunctioning lavatories, missing equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to obtain an AOA Badge from Akron-Canton Airport Operations
- ·Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid US Driver’s License
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school Diploma or GED
- Detailing Experience (preferred)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIROMENT
This position requires some light lifting. Some of the work is done in confined, awkward positions and variable weather conditions. The Part Time Aircraft Cleaner will also be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 70 pounds.
