Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS system
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Manage sales transactions accurately, process payments, and handle cash or credit card payments securely
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all serving areas, including bussing tables and resetting stations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
• Demonstrate knowledge of food safety protocols, wine pairings, and spirits to assist guests with selections
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining exposure
• Strong knowledge of POS systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently
• Experience with serving in high-volume settings such as hotels or upscale restaurants is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay rate starts at $10 per hour plus tips.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
