About the Role
Working amongst the marketing department team, the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Specialist will strategically maintain and develop nearly all aspects of CasterConnection.com’s product offering, develop strategy to grow eCommerce sales and inbound lead generation, and will play a large role in developing an optimal client experience.
Position Location:This is a hybrid position in our Columbus, Ohio headquarters
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Hybrid position: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and report on eCommerce and digital marketing strategies to grow online revenue and qualified inbound leads, using data-driven insights to continually optimize performance
- Lead and manage (along with the Director of Marketing) eCommerce goals, projections, and conversion rate optimization initiatives
- Manage merchandising and on-site optimization efforts, including product listings, category pages, pricing, promotions, and navigation updates
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising and promotional campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive SEO strategy, including keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, link-building, and optimization for AI-driven search experiences (e.g., AI Overviews and conversational queries)
- Monitor website health and performance, conduct technical audits, and collaborate with web developers to ensure optimal site functionality and search visibility
- Research competitive activity and emerging trends in eCommerce, digital marketing, and search
- Manage external agency relationships (web development, paid media, and other partners)
- Collaborate cross-functionally on brand and product content development.
- Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in digital marketing, with a proven track record in SEO, digital advertising, and eCommerce optimization
- Strong understanding of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, and Uber Suggest
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and various google reporting tools
- Working knowledge of optimizing websites for modern search experiences, including AI-generated search results and conversational AI queries
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform marketing strategies and generate performance reports
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
