Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for my child in their home. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and the ability to create a safe, nurturing environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and bedtime.
- Provide support for children with disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a first aid kit.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Proven experience in caregiving or babysitting, with references available upon request.
- Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and general childcare practices.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in daycare settings or as a nanny is preferred.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and well-being.
Drug test and background check required, as well as references. This would be in your home to start. Hrs for the next month would be Monday 9 to 5 Tuesday 2 to 7 (youd pick her up at school) and Friday 2 to 7. During summer, hrs would increase.
