As a Receptionist at Apple Valley Villa, you will cover the front desk as needed. You will greet visitors, answer and route phone calls, help with administrative tasks, and provide exceptional customer service to guests. As a Caregiver, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. Caregivers will additionally be med passing. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with seniors, has the ability to multi-task and assist with administrative support, and is friendly and professional in all situations.
Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule
Shift Available:
Evenings 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM (Full-Time)
Wage Range: $17 - $22.85 / hour Depending on experience.
Location: 14610 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124
- Provide routine nursing care and services to our residents
- Administer medications to residents as needed
- Communicate any resident concerns with licensed nursing staff
- Assist in resident emergencies
- Answer and transfer incoming phone calls as needed
- Manage phone communications coming into the facility.
- Greet visitors and guests professionally, warmly and determine their nature and purpose of visit.
- Direct and/or accompany visitors and guest to appropriate destination.
- Perform various typing assignments and miscellaneous clerical duties for all departments as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.
- Med Passer experience preferred but not required
- HHA, PCA or CNA experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent with previous customer service or reception experience.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Place a high priority on customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Able to work with frequent interruptions.
- Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible hours.
