Summer High School Internship Program (Non-Clinical Roles)
Program Overview
Cass Regional Medical Center is proud to offer a paid Summer High School Internship Program designed for students entering their senior year or recent high school graduates. This program provides valuable, hands-on experience in a professional healthcare environment, focusing on non-clinical support roles that are essential to daily hospital operations.
Interns will gain exposure to various departments, develop workplace and communication skills, and contribute to services that directly support patient care and organizational success.
Program Details
- Duration: 8–10 weeks (June through August 2026)
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week (flexible scheduling based on availability and department needs)
- Pay: $15.00 per hour (PRN, Grade 1 equivalent)
- Benefits: Not eligible for benefits
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a high school student entering their senior year (Class of 2027) OR a 2026 graduate
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Be in good academic standing
- Demonstrate responsibility, professionalism, and a strong interest in learning about healthcare operations

Qualifications
- Current high school senior, college student, or recent graduate
- Interest in healthcare administration, business, or related field
