Job Title: Digital Producer & Videographer
Location: Decatur, Illinois
Type: Full-Time (30–40 hours/week) | Part-Time possibility
Position Summary:
Cass Concepts is seeking a creative, self-driven Digital Producer/ Videographer to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll be behind the scenes and in the action—capturing client events, producing engaging content for social media, and helping build campaigns that make an impact. The Digital Producer plays a critical role at Cass Concepts, serving as both a visual storyteller and a trusted on-site representative of the agency. This position requires strong proficiency in both videography and photography, with the ability to independently plan, capture, and produce high-quality visual content across a wide range of client and agency projects. Digital Producers frequently work solo in the field, representing Cass Concepts at client locations, events, productions, and community activations. As such, this role demands professionalism, confidence, adaptability, and the ability to make creative
and logistical decisions independently while upholding brand standards. The Digital Producer is responsible for capturing content intended for multiple formats and platforms simultaneously, including vertical, horizontal, and square assets for social media, web, advertising, and long-form use. This role collaborates closely with the creative and strategy teams to ensure content aligns with campaign goals, client objectives, and platform best practices.
Content Capture & Production
● Capture high-quality video and photography for client campaigns, community events, business features, testimonials, and internal agency needs
● Independently execute on-site shoots, serving as a professional and polished representative of Cass Concepts
● Capture content at events including (but not limited to) ribbon cuttings, festivals, grand openings, live productions, interviews, and branded experiences
● Plan and execute shoots with the understanding that assets may be required in multiple formats (e.g., vertical for Reels/TikTok, horizontal for YouTube/web, cropped variations for ads and social)
Editing & Post-Production
● Edit video content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
● Prepare short-form, social-first edits (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) as well as longer-form content when needed
● Assist with post-production workflows, including basic motion graphics, captions, color correction, and audio balancing, as needed
● Deliver content on deadline while maintaining quality and brand consistency
Creative Collaboration & Strategy
● Collaborate with creative and account teams on video concepts, shot lists, storyboards, and campaign execution
● Translate creative direction into executed visuals while offering creative input and problem-solving on-site
● Track and apply platform trends, formatting standards, and best practices in visual storytelling
Equipment & Asset Management
● Maintain proper care, organization, and accountability for all company equipment including cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, SD cards, batteries, and accessories
● Organize, label, and archive photo/video files in accordance with Cass Concepts’ internal systems
● Follow established workflows for file storage, backups, and project delivery
Additional Support
● Occasionally assist with scheduling or coordinating content delivery alongside the social media and creative teams
● Support internal documentation of workflows, gear organization, and production processes to ensure continuity and scalability
Minimum Qualifications
● Proven experience in both videography and photography
● Proficiency in operating DSLR or mirrorless camera systems
● Working knowledge of lighting, composition, framing, and clean audio capture
● Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
● Understanding of platform-specific video formats (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts)
● Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
● Strong communication skills and a professional on-site presence
● Reliable transportation and flexibility to attend local shoots and events
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with Adobe After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop
● Drone photography and/or FAA Part 107 certification (preferred, not required)
● Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, etc.)
● Portfolio demonstrating event coverage, storytelling, short-form edits, and multi-format delivery
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
● Ability to lift, carry, and set up production equipment (up to approximately 25
lbs)
● Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to support client events and productions
● Work is performed in-office, on-site at client locations, and at community or
event venues

The Digital Producer will be asked to maintain and document a consistent system
for:
● File organization and archiving
● Hard drive and asset management
● Gear storage and setup
● Editing and delivery workflows
A dedicated page within the Cass Concepts handbook will allow the Digital Producer to document their personal production process to support continuity, training, and team growth.
