Duties
- Supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Oversee daily work schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to meet project deadlines
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality control standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction teams and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and safety reports using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam
- Utilize management tools like Primavera P6 or HeavyBid for project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Supervise team members, providing guidance on construction site best practices and safety procedures
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, industry standards, and client specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites
- Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid or equivalent tools
- Solid understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and experience implementing safety protocols on-site
- Hands-on experience with construction site equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members
- Construction site experience across various phases of projects including pipeline work or heavy civil projects is preferred
