Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to join our team and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting resident comfort, infection prevention, and overall quality of life.
At Casper Mountain Rehab, our housekeeping team is essential to the resident experience. Your work helps ensure that residents feel at home in a space that is well-maintained, respectful, and cared for every day.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas in accordance with facility standards and infection control guidelines
Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and waste removal
Maintain cleanliness of high-touch surfaces to support infection prevention and resident safety
Restock supplies such as linens, paper products, and hygiene items as needed
Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly
Safely use and handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety procedures
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to appropriate personnel
Interact with residents in a respectful and courteous manner, maintaining a positive and professional attitude
Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to environmental and safety standards
Follow all facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements
Support team members and assist with additional housekeeping tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and infection control standards
Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Dependable, reliable, and punctual
Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
