What You'll Do
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall physical function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and strategies that support long-term wellness.
- Monitor and communicate patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition to the Physical Therapist.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, progress, and outcomes.
- Build positive relationships with patients while providing compassionate and professional care.
- Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Follow established clinical, safety, and documentation standards.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Current and active Kentucky PTA license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
