Job Description:
As a Host/Hostess you will be responsible for seating customers, supporting the Grill when possible.
Job Requirements:
- Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and restaurant staff.
- Greet and welcome each guest entering the restaurant.
- Build a rapport with guests while walking them to their tables.
- Accommodate our guests with menus, asking if they prefer a table or booth.
- Ensure that guest seating is rotated between all service stations.
- Communicate guest needs to staff/management, i.e., celebrating anniversary and/ or birthdays.
- Communicate any guest’s complaints and compliments to management.
- Invite and welcome guests back upon completion of their visit.
- Answer the telephone, and make reservations as needed.
- Have complete knowledge of all food and beverages items on the menu.
- Communicate proper flow with the kitchen staff.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of assigned stations.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow team members, and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Must have excellent customer services skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred

- The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
