Duties
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across all hotel or hospitality facility areas, including kitchens, dining spaces, guest rooms, and public areas.
- Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage industrial and commercial cleaning activities, utilizing appropriate equipment and cleaning agents to maintain hygiene standards.
- Implement safety regulations related to cleaning procedures, ensuring staff follow proper protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to monitor quality control and provide coaching or corrective actions as needed.
- Organize laundry services for linens, uniforms, and guest items, maintaining proper handling and storage procedures.
- Support management in developing cleaning schedules, inventory management for supplies, and training programs for new team members.
Experience
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Supervising experience with a focus on team management and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and hazardous materials handling.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience with laundry operations, housekeeping management, or hospitality services is highly desirable.
