What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mason Laborer position at Cashman Landscape Management?
Cashman Landscape Management & Design is a well-established landscape company seeking an experienced Mason to join our team.
Must have experience and ability to construct the following:
- Dry laid and wet laid walkways, patios, walls, steps, outdoor kitchens, firepits
- Natural and cultured stone veneers
- Belgian Block curbing and inlays
- Concrete work (footings, walkways)
- Drainage (catch basins, channel drains, piping)
- Low voltage landscape lighting (preferred but not required)
Job requirements include:
- Experience operating all necessary hand tools (compactors, demolition saw, grinders)
- 2 years of experience as Mason
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to arrive at our Boonton location 7am each morning.
- Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner (be on time, communicate respectfully to crew members and managers, be reliable, maintain a positive attitude, be accountable)
- Ability to communicate and take direction from your Foreman
- ·Ability to work in snow during winter
- Ability to operate mini excavators/loaders is a plus
**Bi-lingual is a plus**
We operate Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm, Saturdays as needed.
Our yard is located in Boonton, NJ
Hourly rate: $19 - $24/hr. based on experience level, with 1.5x overtime pay
