Washer

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

•  Candidate is responsible for keeping all rolling equipment fueled.
•  Candidate will wash any rolling equipment.
•  Individuals will bring the equipment to the garage to be fueled and washed, from respective locations.
•  Safely Park, move, and maneuver heavy trucks and trailers around the terminal or wash bay.
•  Strictly adhere to EPA, OSHA, and company safety guidelines, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handling hazardous cleaning chemicals safely.
•  Individual will assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

•  Exposure to an environment around fuel.
•  Driver License.
•  Able to work in a wet environment where falls and slips are possible.
•  Able to work in an environment around moving vehicles and equipment.
•  Working in an environment with moving loaders.
•  Working in an outdoor setting with hot and cold temperatures.
•  Individuals will be required to wear safety goggles when washing equipment.
•  Individual will be required to wear to wear a safety reflective vest (or uniform shirt with reflectors on it).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, if applicable. 

• Exposure consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• Exposure to temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
• May handle product below 0 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
• Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
• Must handle the weight of 8 to 10 lbs. repetitively, occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling 40 to 70 lbs.
• Exposure to chemicals used in the poultry processing facility.
• Ability to work in a stationary position, on feet for the entire shift.
• Ability to work with heavy machinery for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through the production environment.
