Public School Consultants - Part Time

JOB DESCRIPTION CASE Collaborative is seeking Consultants to provide educational and behavioral consultation services to help public school districts in the region build capacity to serve students with disabilities. TITLE: Public School Consultants - Part Time - PENDING BOARD APPROVAL REPORTS TO: Director of Consulting Services PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide consultation services to public school districts’ special education K-12 programs based on the scope of contracted service agreements Advise district leadership teams on program development and improvement Provide individual student assessments, such as Functional Behavior Assessments and Transition Assessments Develop and conduct professional development trainings for educators on a range of special education topics Develop new initiatives as they relate to school district demand and the needs of teachers/staff Other duties as assigned by the Director of Consulting Services or Executive Director QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Education DESE licensure in a related field required (e.g. Special Education Administrator) At least 5 years experience in a leadership or supervisory role At least 5 years public school experience Experience planning and facilitating professional development trainings for staff Excellent interpersonal relations and consultative skills Experience with coaching educators and improving student outcomes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Well versed in technology Areas of preferred expertise: Special Education Program Development and Improvement, Inclusive Practice, Curriculum Development, PBIS, Social-Emotional Learning, Trauma-informed Practice BENEFITS: Excellent compensation commensurate with experience Flexible schedule/hours depending on district contracts MA retirement system Mileage reimbursement Numerous on-site professional development opportunities offered free of charge to earn CEs and PDPs towards licensure recertification Strong organizational commitment to excellence with many opportunities for growth in supervisory and leadership positions This could be a full-time or part-time position depending on current needs.
