Lead Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist: Casco Bay Food and Beverage, a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP), looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented Lead Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist. Working a reliable Sunday - Thursday 7am to finish schedule, you will assist with directing the activities of warehouse personnel involved in the receiving, stocking, and shipping of products.
A thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations, the ability to motivate your team to accomplish objectives, good organization, basic understanding of inventories, and intermediate computer and data entry skills are essential qualifications for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fulfill orders using vend management systems and follow established procedures
- Assist with ordering, receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming product
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment
- Stock and rotate inventory using code dates and FIFO (First In, First Out) methods
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or expired products
- Support regular inventory counts and ensure proper product transfers are recorded
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and tablets
- Ensure food safety and workplace safety standards are consistently followed
- Maintain working knowledge of warehouse operations, layout, and inventory
- Assist with training new employees and reinforcing company procedures
- Complete basic administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of warehouse or distribution experience
- Previous experience in a lead or support role preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions, including refrigerated areas
- Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Willing to work extended hours as needed to complete daily tasks
