Market Attendant – Casco Bay Food & Beverage, a 100% employee-owned company, is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Market Attendant to support our market operations at Bath Iron Works (BIW).
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, interacting with customers, and taking pride in keeping a space clean, stocked, and running smoothly.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist with product questions
- Keep shelves, coolers, and displays clean, organized, stocked, and looking their best
- Monitor inventory and rotate products to maintain freshness
- Brew fresh coffee, bake cookies, and replenish baked goods while following food safety standards
- Complete inventory checks and assist with audits as needed
- Keep accurate records and communicate product needs, customer feedback, or operational concerns
- Report equipment or maintenance issues promptly
- Help support other BIW market locations when needed

Physical Requirements
This is a physically active role requiring standing and walking for most of the shift, lifting and carrying products (frequently up to 40 lbs, occasionally up to 55 lbs), and pushing or pulling carts up to 200 lbs. Team members may climb steps or stairs while handling product, work with refrigerated goods, and occasionally move between BIW locations. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions may occur.
Applicants must be able to successfully complete required background screening.
