- Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with pharmacy management systems, inventory software, and POS systems.
- Work Style: A fast, efficient worker who maintains high accuracy and attention to detail under pressure.
- Mindset: A dynamic, outgoing personality with a positive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Availability: Flexible scheduling options (some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prescription Processing: Accurately pull, count, label, and package medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Patient & Customer Care: Greet patients, assist at the register, and deliver exceptional, personable customer service.
- Third-Party Billing: Resolve insurance rejections, process claims, manage prior authorizations, and handle POS transactions.
- Clinical & Operational Support: Assist pharmacists with specialized community services (immunization intake, testing setup, and health programs).
- Inventory & Workflow: Help receive orders, manage inventory, restock supplies, and keep the pharmacy workflow smooth and organized.
- Teamwork: Collaborate closely with pharmacists and fellow technicians to continuously improve daily operations and patient care.
What’s In It for You
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
