What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Work Crew / Maintenance (Multiple Positions/Various Locations) position at Cascade School District 5?
Placement: District Schools
Supervisor: Facilities Director
Hours: 30-40 Hrs/Week (7:00 am 3:30 pm)
Salary Range: Minimum Wage - $18.50/Hour
Contract Days: Summer Temporary
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Background Check and Fingerprint criminal history verification clearance (if over 18 years of age).
2. Ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively.
3. Ability to work within school district guidelines and procedures.
4. Ability to understand, interpret and follow instructions and to work with minimal supervision in performance of routine duties.
5. Ability to lift (up to 60 lbs) and move equipment, furniture, supplies, etc.
6. Ability to climb ladders, stretch and bend to perform duties.
7. Ability to spend most of the work shift standing, sitting, lifting, and walking.
8. Must be 16 years old by June 1, 2023.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform all maintenance and repair work as assigned.
2. Prepare surfaces for painting, repainting or staining and apply finish to various surfaces such as wood, glass, metal plaster, stucco, wallboard, brick and cement.
3. Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
4. Regular attendance at work and work activities is required.
