What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at Cascade Pump?
Welder
For over 75 years Cascade Pump has been a leader in Low Lift high volume Industrial water pump manufacturing. We are looking for a Welder to be responsible for welding Flanges to Columns, base plates, and fitting Elbows to columns/pedal stools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to MIG, TIG, and Stick weld.
- Must be able to read calibrated tape measure, levels.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Must be able to cut 836 materials into different shapes
- Must be able to use a welder, cutting torch, plasma torch, and various grinders
- Must be safety conscious
- Weld and Fabricate sizes of 10 ¾ up to 20 inches.
- Promote and practice Quality Awareness and Quality Culture within the Fabrication department.
Skills Required:
- A minimum of 5yrs welding/fabricating
- Must be able to read Blueprints.
- Must be safety conscientious
- Must have good communication skills and be willing to follow our weekly plan
- Must be able to read calibrated tape measures, levels, and position and set yup Lase
