Shipping/Receiving Clerk
High tech machine shop has an opening for a Day Shift Shipping / Receiving Clerk.
The shift is 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM M-F
Wage is based upon your experience. Average range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00 per hour.

This position is fast paced and includes a variety of tasks. It involves the receiving of incoming product and material as well as the shipping of outgoing materials, products, or supplies. The employee will count items received or shipped and checks against packing lists, recording any discrepancies. The job also entails the preparation of receiving or shipping reports and notes any shortages or damages.
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred. Similar experience in a related or comparable field will be considered.
Job Requirements:
- General Knowledge of shipping receiving process including the accurate counting of inbound and shipped product
- Ability to multi-task and able to maintain a high attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and disposition paperwork to the proper location
- Ability to measure. Must be able read tape measure & calipers
- Forklift Experience is a plus (if needed we will train for this skill)
- Motivated/ self-starter, can keep self-busy
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. consistently
- Must work well with others
- Efficient in basic math
Job Responsibilities:
- Boxing / Packaging product to ship to customers
- Shipping outbound packages via outbound parcel carrier
- Checking in inbound parcels from UPS/FedEx and putting items away
- Arranging pickups / calling LTL’s and Loading / unloading freight
- Creating pallets to be shipped out LTL or Flatbed loads
- Sweep/clean areas daily – General housekeeping duties daily
- Perform other tasks given by supervisor or management, including deburring and assembly of parts
- Help other team members find product as needed in the work area
