Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk with a background in manufacturing to manage our daily logistics.

Important: Application Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping/receiving role.
• Industry Specific: You must have experience working specifically within a manufacturing shipping department.
• Note: Applicants whose experience is limited only to retail shipping centers (FedEx/UPS storefronts) will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Outbound Logistics: Manage outbound parcel shipping using carrier portals (UPS WorldShip/FedEx) to ensure accurate routing, label generation, and secure packaging.
• Freight Coordination: Schedule LTL (Less Than Truckload) carrier pickups, coordinate outbound freight logistics, and accurately prepare Bills of Lading (BOL).
• Receiving & Quality Control: Conduct inspections on incoming freight, verify material counts against documentation, and process all receiving paperwork.
• Data & Inventory Management: Perform precise data entry by reconciling incoming packing slips against our internal inventory database.
• Facility Operations: Maintain organized shipping supplies, assist other departments as needed, and ensure a clean, safe workspace.
• Proven Track Record: 2 years of dedicated shipping, receiving, or inventory management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Sharp Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and solid written/verbal communication.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
