Position Responsibilities
- Support campus administration, faculty, staff, and students
- Receive oral and written orders from building administrator
- Performs work according to stand procedures and by building operational schedule
- Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs
- Performs painting and touch-up painting
- Empties waste baskets
- Replaces light bulbs
- Sets up and tears down chairs, tables, and equipment for meetings
- Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures
- Additional duties may be required
- Work in a manner that reflects the character of Jesus
- Walk in humility - a servant leader
- Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
- Is a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to move consistently for up to eight hours per day
- Prior job-related experience in custodial procedures and building maintenance with increasing levels of responsibility
- Skills to operate standard custodial equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations related to the handling of cleaning supplies and chemicals
- Superior customer service and relational skills
- Ability to perform prolonged physical activity, including standing, reaching, lifting up to fifty pounds, handling, and fingering
- Able to work independently and understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Flexible schedule: This position will require some weekend work
- Willing to complete Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance, CPR, and first aid training
- Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
