Child Care Breaker

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Implement predetermined lesson plan and manage the classroom while the teacher is on break
• Maintain a nurturing, Christian environment in the classroom
• Facilitate activities that meet the group and individual needs of students
• Promote educational progression of students

REQUIREMENTS:

• Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Teaching Statement and Statement of Faith.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Flexible to assist in classrooms as needed
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Able to work with a variety of students of ages
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to attend job-related activities during non-work hours (compensated)
• Prefer a minimum one-year certification or two years of experience in Early Childhood Education
• Willingness to meet CPR/Current First Aid and other regulatory requirements
• Willingness to obtain CDA coursework
• Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement 

WORK HOURS:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

April 13, 2026

SALARY RANGE:

 $18.50-$21.75
