POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals needing accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Implement activities from curriculum, manage supplies, set up and prep work of materials and program space
- Teach and actively engage students in each activity
- Ensure the safety of children and staff at all times
- Provide a warm, clean and loving atmosphere
- Assist with and actively participate in all areas of the THRIVE program
- Maintain a developmentally appropriate environment in the classroom
- Develop activities that meet the group and individual needs of students
REQUIREMENTS:
- Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
- Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a background check clearance
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Obtain a food worker card
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, hike, swim, climb stairs
- Has a positive attitude
- Ability to work AS part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrates an attitude of support and encouragement
- Willing to complete ALL required trainings including HIV/AIDS & annual blood borne pathogen training
- Meets the preferred one to two years of experience in early childhood education
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors; can be subjected to inclement weather
- Accept supervision and guidance from supervisors and administrators
- Perform ALL expected duties in a professional manner
WORK HOURS:
Monday through Friday 9:15am - 4:15pm
SALARY RANGE:
$21.05-$24.30; Depending on Experience
THIS POSITION RUNS FROM JUNE 11- AUGUST 14, 2026
