JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Provide children with a developmentally appropriate program that meets the spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of the children
- Implement activities from curriculum, manage supplies, set up and prep work of materials and program space
- Teach and actively engage students in each activity
- Ensure the safety of children and staff at all times
- Provide a warm, clean and loving atmosphere
- Assist with and actively participate in all areas of the THRIVE program
- Willingness to work between the McAlder, Puyallup, and Frederickson locations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be eighteen years of age
- Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools’ Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
- Have a background clearance
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a food worker card, if applicable
- Willing to complete HIV/AIDS training and annual blood borne pathogens training
- Attend an agency orientation.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors; can be subjected to inclement weather
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, hike, swim, climb stairs
- Accept supervision and guidance from supervisors and administrators
- Perform all expected duties in a professional manner
Salary Range:
$17.80 per Hour
