JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.
- Assist in providing children with a developmentally appropriate program that meets the spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of the children
- Encourage children’s development of independent functioning, as appropriate to the age of the child
- Teach and actively engage students in each activity
- Ensure the safety of children and staff at all times
- Attend field trips, providing direction and safety while off-site
- Provide a warm, clean and loving atmosphere
- Assist with and actively participate in all areas of the THRIVE program
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be eighteen years of age
- Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools’ Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
- Have a background clearance
- Have a food worker card, if applicable
- Willing to complete HIV/AIDS training and annual blood borne pathogens training
- Attend an agency orientation.
- Accept supervision and guidance from supervisors and administrators
- Perform all expected duties in a professional manner
WORK HOURS:
Monday through Friday 7:15am - 3:00pm
THIS POSITION RUNS FROM JUNE 11– AUGUST 14, 2026
Salary Range:
$19.05-$22.30 per Hour, depending on qualifications
