Job Description
As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of guest room hallways, and ensuring that the room attendants have what they need to complete their assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that Room Attendants have the items needed to complete their assignments.
- Ensure that the floors, stairs, and housekeeping closets are always pristine.
- Dispose of Trash/Recycling items timely.
- Promptly report maintenance issues and special guest requests.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with various rooms leaders to ensure rooms are ready and available for guest arrival.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a guest-facing hotel housekeeping role preferred,
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work days, evenings as needed, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
