About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and posting adjusting journal entries
- Preparing individual and business income tax returns
- Preparing tax projections for individuals and business entities
- Working within tight deadlines
- Obtaining information from clients regarding taxable income and deductible expenses
- Maintaining a working relationship with selected clients
- Researching tax issues using tax research tools
- Keeping up to date on the latest tax updates and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in preparation of income tax returns
- Prior work experience in a CPA firm or business management firm
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of CCH ProSystem fx or CCH Access Tax is preferred
- Knowledge of BNA income tax planner and Quickbooks is a plus
- Knowledge of AgilLink is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams
- Ability to apply critical thinking in daily tasks
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized and work within tight deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills

We are also in need of a Tax Director, CPA for our client in Century City up to $280k commensurate with experience.
Multiple tax personnel for Tax Supervisor, Tax Manager, Tax Senior. Salaries negotiable and commensurate with experience.
Locations include San Fernando Valley and West side of LA.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
