Senior Tax Accountant (CPA)

Our firm is seeking a career-oriented CPA or CPA candidate to join our team. Established in 1995, we are a relationship oriented firm specializing in high net worth individuals and closely held businesses across a broad set of industries. We provide our clients with a full range of services including business consulting, tax, and attest services. As an employee, you will join a team environment that fosters learning and professional growth. Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, career-oriented CPA or CPA candidate with a MINIMUM of 3 years of public accounting experience. As a member of our team, you will be expected to follow several projects through to completion and take responsibility of maintaining those client relationships.

Employee Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze books and records
• Interact with clients regarding accounting and tax needs
• Prepare tax returns and financial statements
• Represent clients to government agencies
• Assist clients with any matter of financial compliance

Required Job Qualifications:

• MINIMUM of 3 years of public accounting experience
• Ability/experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Maturity, dependability, strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Must be software literate - including MS Suite.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of income tax and tax planning experience
• Experience with accounting software programs (ProSystem Fx a plus)
• Real estate accounting experience
