- Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily operation of the nursing department
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing employees
- Help ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care
- Monitor nursing practices, documentation, and changes in resident condition
- Support employee scheduling, staffing, orientation, training, and development
- Assist with infection prevention, quality improvement, and risk-reduction efforts
- Participate in resident care planning and communicate with residents, families, and providers
- Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility requirements
- Support surveys, audits, investigations, and corrective action plans
- Step in for the Director of Nursing when needed
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Indiana license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Nursing leadership experience preferred
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, coach, and support a nursing team
- A dependable, professional, and team-first approach
