CASA of Collin County (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization, advocating for abused and neglected children in the court system. The CEO will oversee all aspects of agency operations, including program management, fundraising, community relations, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic Planning
- Provide visionary leadership and direction for the organization.
- Develop and implement long- and short-term goals aligned with CASA’s mission.
- Ensure compliance with CASA standards and regulatory requirements.
Program Oversight
- Supervise and evaluate CASA programs to ensure quality and effectiveness.
- Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and recognition.
- Monitor program outcomes and report to the Board and funding sources.
Fundraising & Resource Development
- Lead fundraising efforts including grant writing, donor relations, and corporate sponsorships.
- Maintain donor records and implement recognition strategies.
- Represent CASA in community events and donor presentations.
Community & Public Relations
- Serve as the public face of CASA, promoting awareness and advocacy.
- Build and maintain relationships with court personnel, child welfare agencies, and legal professionals.
- Collaborate with Texas CASA and National CASA on legislative and programmatic initiatives.
Board Relations & Governance
- Act as liaison to the Board of Directors, providing regular updates and strategic guidance.
- Submit policy recommendations and support board committees as needed.
Financial & Administrative Management
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal accountability.
- Manage staff and ensure professional development opportunities.
- Approve public relations materials and ensure consistent messaging.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, human services, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in nonprofit, volunteer, or public service organizations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, write grants, and lead diverse teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Additional Requirements
- Completion of 30 hours of Pre-Service CASA Volunteer Training upon hire.
- Annual signing of CASA Program, Inc.’s Conflict of Interest policy.
- Participation in ongoing professional development.
