Job Description:
This position manages the Day Treatment for Adults (DTA) program and reports to the Casa De Rosa Regional Director. The DTA Manager is responsible for planning and executing activities at the DTA program and align with each member’s goals. In addition, the manager is responsible for establishing daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled. The manager is also responsible for the overall care of the DTA animals, inventory (activities and animals) and overall cleanliness. Lastly, this position reviews and enforces all Casa de Rosa policies and procedures to ensure that members are supported to meet their Person-Centered Service Plan (PCSP) goals
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and support of Casa De Rosa’s Mission, Vision, and values at the designated DTA program.
- Create, develop, and implement an ongoing program of engaging activities that support member’s PCSP goals.
- Develop and facilitate the cleaning routine for the designated DTA to ensure a clean and safe facility for programs.
- Develop and facilitate activities that target social, emotional, physical, and developmental growth.
- Manage member and employee records at the designated DTA in accordance with Casa De Rosa and HIPPA regulations.
- Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly communication with members and guardians to ensure transparency and a welcoming environment.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all Casa De Rosa stakeholders including members, families, guardians, and DDD staff members
- Conduct performance evaluations of DTA providers.
- Resolve requests and concerns in an efficient & timely manner
- Provide programmatic feedback to Directors
- Performed other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience as a Direct Support Professional
- Be at least 18 years old
- High School diploma or GED- or 3 or more years of experience as a provider.
- Provide three professional references
- CPR/First Aid required or ability to obtain
- Currently hold or able to obtain Article 9 Certification
- Currently hold or able to obtain Prevention and Support
- Currently hold or able to obtain a clean fingerprint clearance card
- Reliable transportation
- AZ driver license, car registration, and car insurance
- Successful completion of agency required training Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Currently hold or able to obtain Article 9 certification
- Currently hold or able to obtain CPR (Infant, child, and Adult) certification
- Currently hold or able to obtain First Aid certification
- Currently hold or able to obtain Prevention and Support certification
- Currently hold or able to obtain Abuse, neglect and Exploitation training
- Currently hold or able to obtain Positive behavioral support
- Currently hold or able to obtain DCW Level 1 and 2
- Currently hold or able to obtain Valid Level one Fingerprint Clearance Card
