About This Role
We are seeking a patient, energetic, and nurturing Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will work alongside a Lead Teacher & another assistant to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where toddlers aged 15 to 36 months can explore, learn, and grow. What You'll Do
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate daily activities, lesson plans, and routines.
- Provide attentive care to toddlers, including assisting with meal times, diapering, toilet training, and naptime routines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that meets state licensing standards.
- Observe and monitor children's progress, sharing daily updates and developmental milestones with parents and guardians.
- Engage children in active play, storytelling, and creative arts to foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

- High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED).
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with toddlers or young children in a licensed childcare facility or structured setting (Montessori experience preferred).
- Must possess a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Level One or IVP) & CPR/First Aid certification
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, stoop, and sit on the floor for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
Must be available to work T,W, & Th to start from 7:45 AM-2:45 PM (30 min paid lunch)
Ability to grow to a M-F schedule.
Nice to Have
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education/Montessori classroom experience.
- Familiarity with Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) childcare licensing regulations.
