Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (material responsibilities and essentials duties)
· Demonstrate solid product knowledge
· Ability to follow recipes for different types of baked goods
· Able to scratch mix flours, oils, starches and fruits
· Possess ability to produce high-quality pies and pastry; or ability to learn how
· Complete forms and internal paperwork for product transfers
· Interact with other businesses within Casa de Fruta
· Demonstrate friendly and helpful service to all customers consistently
· Follow all food handling, hygiene and safety processes and procedures
· Complete housekeeping tasks as needed, keeping work area clean and organized
· Ensure all fresh food cases are stocked and maintained
· Meet or exceed customer service standards
· Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices

Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.)
• Able to have basic math skills
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard.

Must obtain California Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment
Must be able to perform repetitive work
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Some exposure to cleaning products, (bathroom and toilet cleansers, window cleaners, wax, wax stripper, graffiti remover, paint remover etc), paint, and other chemicals is required
Equipment used: Mixers, Ovens and Pastry equipment
