Requirements
Position purpose: To provide excellent customer service to our customers.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (material responsibilities and essentials duties)
Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.)
Able to read and write English. Prior server experience preferred. Able to independently evaluate needs of Restaurant/guests and act to satisfy those needs.
Special Position Requirements: (Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.e. chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.)
Some exposure to cleaning products, (bathroom and toilet cleansers, window cleaners, wax, wax stripper, graffiti remover, paint remover etc), paint, and other chemicals is required. Constant standing and walking.
Must obtain a California Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment
Equipment used: glass handling, knives, hot beverage equipment, CO2

- Greets diners and escorts them to a table
- Provides diners with menus and special requests
- Accepts payment and enters into Aloha POS, provides change and/or credit card receipt
- Thanks guests and invites return visit
- Answers guest questions accurately
- Ensures food safety standards are followed during food preparation and service
- Thorough knowledge of menu and standard preparation of all items
- Communicates any problems or delays to diners
- Occasionally handles payment transactions with guests
- Wipes down tables, booths and chairs
- Cleans restrooms, windows and other areas of Restaurant as needed
- Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time
- Communicates promotions and/or up-sales to diners
- Performs all side work as required (restocking condiments, cleaning, other miscellaneous tasks)
