What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Behavioral Health Clinical Services Clinician position at CASA DE AMPARO?
Provides trauma informed, evidence-based behavioral health services to probation-involved youth and families under the Regional Behavioral
Health Clinician Services (RBHCS) program. Conducts assessments, develops
treatment plans, provides individual and family therapy, and coordinates care with Probation and community partners to reduce delinquency, strengthen family functioning, and support successful completion of probation terms. Ensures timely, accessible, and compliant service delivery consistent with County and Casa de Amparo standards.
MAJOR TASKS:
- Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans within five (5) business days, and deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy to youth and families.
- Maintain caseload and documentation in accordance with County timelines and quality standards.
- Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and linkages to resources to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with Probation Officers, County staff, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and review cases.
- Deliver culturally and linguistically responsive services; bilingual services in Spanish strongly preferred.
- Participate in required training and certification, including TF-CBT, ARC, Seeking Safety, MI, and My Life My Choice (MLMC)
- Comply with all agencies, County, and HIPAA requirements; display ID badges and follow Dress Code Policy.
- Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and agency reporting processes.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
- Current California licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent) in good standing.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience providing behavioral health services to at-
risk or justice-involved youth and families. Competency in dual-diagnosis treatment and training in trauma-informed, evidence-based models (TF-CBT, ARC, Seeking Safety, MI).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Must meet Community Care Licensing and agency requirements including background clearance, CPR/1st Aid, TB/drug screening, immunizations, and valid CA driver’s license with insurability.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
