Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process orders, payments, and refunds.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to handle transactions smoothly.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy.
• Experience in serving food and beverages in a café or retail environment is preferred.
