Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing bar and dining operations efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves serving beverages and food, handling transactions, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with excellent time management skills, are essential for success in this position. Strong Bar Spirits, Cocktails, and Wine knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Provide attentive customer service, ensuring guest needs are met promptly and professionally
- Manage cash handling and billing procedures efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or private parties as needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub settings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant server, bartender, or banquet staff is preferred
- Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments is a plus
- Familiarity with POS TOAST is desirable
- Strong skills in sales, customer service, and multitasking are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Experience working with beverage brewing or the food industry is advantageous
