Position Summary
We are seeking reliable, experienced, and compassionate in-home caregivers, including live-in caregivers, to provide private-duty care for seniors. Care is primarily delivered in private homes, with opportunities to follow clients—or begin care—during hospital stays, rehabilitation, or within assisted living communities. Responsibilities include assisting with skilled care needs, activities of daily living, companionship, and other individualized services that promote independence, safety, and dignity. Live-in caregivers play a vital role in supporting clients who require consistent, around-the-clock care and continuity of support.
Responsibilities
- Provide comfort companionship, emotional support, and social engagement to promote independence at home.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management and mobility support
- Support with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands and shopping
- Accompany clients to appointments or social activities
- Maintain clear communication with clients and their families
- Respect client privacy and uphold professional standards of care
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Candidates must possess a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience providing direct care to seniors. Private-duty caregiving experience is strongly preferred, though not required.
- Valid driver’s license preferred , reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening and reference checks
- CNA/GNA certification required
