Position Overview:
As a Physician Assistant at Cary Endocrine & Diabetes Center, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to our patients. You will collaborate closely with our team of experienced endocrinologists, nurses, and healthcare staff to deliver the highest quality of care. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Conducting patient assessments, medical histories, and physical exams.
Formulating treatment plans and managing the care of endocrinology and diabetes patients.
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab results.
Providing patient education on conditions, treatments, and self-management strategies.
Participating in collaborative decision-making with the medical team.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current North Carolina PA license and NCCPA certification.
Previous experience in endocrinology or diabetes care is preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong commitment to patient care and empathy.
Ability to work well within a collaborative healthcare team.
