Pay Range: $74.27-$122.56*
The Vice President of Quality is a key strategic leader at North Star Health Alliance, responsible for establishing and driving a system-wide vision for quality, safety, and performance excellence. This role leads the development and execution of a comprehensive, integrated quality framework to ensure the delivery of best-in-class care that prioritizes patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
Define and champion a culture of quality across the organization, aligning strategic objectives with best practices in clinical and operational performance
Lead initiatives to ensure continuous survey readiness and full compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards
Oversee all quality management functions system-wide, including regulatory
compliance, performance measurement, clinical quality improvement, and core measures
Collaborates with executive leadership, clinical teams, and medical staff to develop, implement, and evaluate quality and safety initiatives that support organizational goals
Utilize data-driven decision-making to identify trends, measure outcomes, and drive improvements in care delivery and patient experience
Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies, ensuring timely communication and effective response to findings and recommendations
Foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, accountability, and shared ownership of quality outcomes
Qualifications:
Education/Certification/Licensing
License/Certification:
Licensed healthcare professional with clinical background.
Certification in healthcare quality (e.g. CPHQ) is desirable
Education:
Relevant clinical or administrative background; advanced degree (e.g. MHA, MPH,MSN, or equivalent) strongly preferred
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience with evidence of strong leadership capabilities.
Minimum of five (5) years prior experience in an organizational leadership role required
Demonstrated success in driving cultural change and quality transformation across complex healthcare settings.
Deep understanding of quality standards, patient safety principles, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement methodologies
Proven experience in healthcare quality leadership, preferably within an integrated health system or multi-facilty organization.
