Busy podiatry office seeking medical receptionist to begin immediately. As a receptionist and administrative assistant you will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. This position will work in our Morehead City office on Monday, Thursday, and Friday and in our Swansboro office on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls
- Checking patients in and out, collecting copays
- Schedule appointments by phone call or online requests
- Obtain insurance authorizations
- Process incoming and outgoing referrals
- Create and update patient medical charts
Knowledge and skills
- Proven work in customer service/office setting
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
