Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, and modify tools, jigs, and fixtures using various machining techniques.
- Maintain and repair existing tools and dies to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop efficient manufacturing solutions.
- Conduct inspections and measurements to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with tools and dies during production runs and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machinist/ Die Maker or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in operating machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy, precision measurement tools, and machining techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
