Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow CSS’s market presence in executive search, HR consulting, travel services, and career coaching
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams, partnership opportunities, and service lines aligned with CSS’s mission
- Generate leads targeting small businesses, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and individuals seeking HR or career services
- Cultivate strong professional relationships through networking, referrals, partnerships, and industry events
- Craft compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs; coordinate responses to RFPs and RFQs as needed
- Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and finalize agreements, ensuring alignment with CSS’s value proposition
- Collaborate with marketing and service teams to develop client-facing materials—brochures, case studies, digital content, and presentations
- Drive marketing initiatives across digital platforms and social media channels to raise awareness
- Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor for existing accounts, anticipating needs and identifying opportunities for expanded services
- Oversee renewal and upselling strategies to maximize customer lifetime value
- Manage a sales pipeline through CRM, tracking leads, meeting progress, proposals, and deals
- Provide regular reports on key metrics: new business, revenue growth, pipeline status, and market trends
- 5 years in business development, sales, or client relations, ideally within staffing, HR services, consulting, or travel industries
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and business acumen
- Ability to translate client needs into compelling service offerings
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing platforms
- Self‑starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage priorities
- Strategic thinker, adaptable, relationship-driven, and customer-focused
- Passionate about supporting individual and small business growth
- Preferred: Existing network or familiarity with executives, entrepreneurs, and HR leaders in the Texas region
