Housekeeper(Part Time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper (part-time) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, adhering to high standards of hospitality and hygiene.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Ensure all areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained, including guest rooms, lobbies, and restrooms.
• Conduct floor care activities such as waxing, buffing, and polishing as needed.
• Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in the organization of storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is beneficial.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods. The employee must occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladder, and reach over their head. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
